Je wordt tewerkgesteld in de afdeling "Houtzagerij" van de winkel, samen met je 3 andere collega's en de teamleader. Klanten komen hier langs met hun uitgekozen of bestelde platen hout, en hun vraag om deze te versnijden volgens hun eigen wens. Simpele bewerkingen worden onmiddellijk behandeld, voor de meer complexe uitvoeringen wordt een aflevermoment vastgelegd. De teamleader zorgt ervoor dat de bestellingen geoptimaliseerd worden in het computersysteem, die daarna uitgelezen kunnen worden. Je werkt met verschillende machines gaande van een CNC-gestuurde machine tot een opdeelzaag, paneelzaag en een afplakker met retour. Uit het automatisch platenmagazijn worden de platen automatisch tot op de machine gelegd, je hoeft dus zelf geen grote hef- en tilwerken uit te voeren wat het ergonomisch werken bevordert.

Op kalmere momenten, wanneer je geen verzagingswerken aan het doen bent, hou je de zagerij proper en worden de vooraf versneden platen aangevuld. Indien nodig kun je ook in ingezet worden in de winkel zelf

Dit heb je nodig voor de job

Uiteraard heb je kennis van hout en (CNC)-zaagmachines. Je kunt nog veel leren op de werkvloer, maar een goede basiskennis is een absolute must. Je vindt het leuk om het werk in de zagerij te combineren met klantencontact en verkoop. Je werkt net, gestructureerd en veilig.

Je kunt elke zaterdag werken en in de toekomst schrik je er niet voor af om ook op zondag en in een ploegensysteem te werken. Uiteraard wordt dit gecompenseerd met andere vrije dagen in de week.

Je kunt je perfect uitdrukken in het Nederlands en je gaat vlot om met computersystemen. Je werkt graag in een klein team en je neemt de verantwoordelijkheden over jouw werk.
