Accenture is a business reinvention and technology company. Our ambition is to be the reinvention partner of choice for our clients and lead in the safe, widespread adoption of AI, and to be the most client-focused, AI-enabled, great place to work in the world. Our approximately 814,000 people bring deep insights across industries and functions, with capabilities spanning strategy, process, operating model, change management, talent, data, technology and AI. We bring innovation and new solutions informed by our experience across industries, enabling us to apply relevant insights, capabilities and leading practices from adjacent sectors to address emerging business challenges and opportunities. We serve more than 9,000 clients and generated revenues of approximately $74 billion in fiscal year 2026. Visit us at www.accenture.com.

The Opportunity

Life and Annuity and Group and Voluntary Benefits carriers are modernizing core platforms, evolving operating models, and deploying AI and intelligent agents to unlock capabilities that legacy architectures cannot support. For L&A carriers, this means policy administration transformation, digital core modernization, and the data foundations that enable intelligent operations. For Group and Voluntary Benefits carriers, it means reinventing the value streams where agentic AI creates the most measurable impact — from underwriting and claims through enrollment, absence management, and data exchange across a complex broker and employer ecosystem.

Role Summary

Life Insurance Management Consultants own defined components of work across complex transformation programs. They translate business objectives into analyses, process designs, requirements, and implementation-ready deliverables.

At this level, the expectation is active contribution and rapid development of domain and delivery fluency, with increasing ownership of analytical workstreams as engagement experience grows. In this role, you will work alongside client and Accenture teams to analyze business problems, design practical solutions, and contribute to transformation delivery across either market.

Responsibilities

  • Support business and technology workstreams from discovery through implementation and value realization
  • Analyze current-state processes and develop future-state recommendations
  • Design end-to-end workflows across the Life & Annuity and Group Benefits value chain
  • Develop requirements, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other implementation-ready artifacts
  • Support product management activities, including backlog refinement, prioritization, and value tracking
  • Contribute to AI-enabled workflow design, including human decision points, controls, and value measures
  • Connect business needs with digital core platforms, agentic workflow, data, integration, and digital channels
  • Facilitate working sessions and track scope, dependencies, risks, decisions, quality, and adoption
  • Develop client-ready analyses, roadmaps, business cases, and presentations
  • Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and reusable assets
  • Build trusted working relationships across client and Accenture teams
  • Travel up to 80% based on client and project requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management consulting, carrier, or business and technology transformation experience, including experience within Life Insurance or Annuities
  • 1+ year of experience contributing to a business or technology workstream within a transformation, modernization, or platform implementation program
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Life & Annuity value chain across business and technology
  • For Group and Voluntary benefits, similar knowledge and depth, considering case underwriting, absence management, disability, and voluntary claims as areas of concentration
  • Knowledge of policy administration and digital core modernization, including workflow, data, integration, and digital channels
  • Familiarity with platforms such as ALIP, OIPA, Sapiens, FAST, Fadata, EIS, Majesco, EIS, Vitech and rating platforms like FJA and Global IQX or comparable technologies
  • Practical knowledge of AI-enabled or agentic workflows
  • Strong problem-solving, analysis, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate, client-ready deliverables with limited direction
  • Life & Annuity carrier background and relevant industry, agile, business analysis, product, architecture, or cloud credentials are valued
  • Track record of leading large-scale transformation programs and multidisciplinary teams
  • Carrier background and relevant industry, agile, product, architecture, or cloud credentials
  • For Group Benefits, understand the synergies to Brokers, benefits administration, and enrollment platforms

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
