The posting

The Sales Director, Central Asia owns direct sales execution across the Central Asia market (Uzbekistan and other countries in the region) for the company's Voice AI product - full ownership of the entire sales cycle, from pipeline building and networking through closing deals and pulling in technical specialists for presales support when needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in direct B2B sales, with a track record of personally sourcing and closing deals
  • Required: prior experience selling AI-powered or AI-heavy technology products (voice/conversational AI, applied AI, or similar) — general IT/SaaS sales experience alone is not sufficient
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Uzbek is a strong plus but not required
  • Comfortable working independently and owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Proficiency with modern CRM systems and sales technologies
  • Strong prioritization and execution skills across multiple concurrent objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Sales Execution

  • Build and manage a personal pipeline of prospects in target verticals - primarily banking, insurance, and healthcare, with room to expand into adjacent sectors - across Central Asia
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo/pitch, negotiation, closing
  • Bring in technical specialists for presales support as deals require it
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets and quota

Market & Network Development

  • Leverage and expand personal network to generate warm introductions and qualified leads across the region
  • Stay current on local market dynamics, competitor activity, and regulatory considerations relevant to target industries
  • Represent the company at local industry events and client meetings

Collaboration

  • Provide market and customer feedback to the COO and product team
  • Report on pipeline status, forecasts, and deal progress on a regular basis

Product Expertise

  • Develop deep understanding of the Voice AI product to effectively position it against client pain points
  • Translate technical capabilities into business value for non-technical stakeholders
