Working closely with the Concierge, Front Office, and Valet teams, you will oversee daily Bell Desk operations, luggage handling, guest assistance, and transportation coordination. With a hands-on leadership style and a strong presence across the lobby and arrival areas, you will guide the team to deliver service with warmth, confidence, and the distinctive personality of SLS The Red Sea.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Bell team, ensuring smooth and consistent service across all guest arrivals and departures.
  • Maintain a visible and engaging presence in the lobby, driveway, and resort arrival areas, supporting guests and colleagues throughout the shift.
  • Personally welcome and assist guests upon arrival and departure, creating memorable first and last impressions.
  • Oversee luggage handling, storage, delivery, and collection, ensuring all items are handled securely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper luggage tagging, logging, tracking, and storage procedures are followed at all times.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office and Concierge teams to support guest arrivals, departures, room moves, and other guest requirements.
  • Assist with transportation arrangements, including airport transfers, private transfers, and other guest mobility requirements.
  • Coordinate with Valet and transportation teams to ensure smooth guest movements and efficient arrivals and departures.
  • Stay informed of VIP arrivals, repeat guests, special requests, and individual preferences to support personalized service.
  • Provide accurate and engaging information about resort facilities, dining venues, activities, experiences, Shura Island, and the wider Red Sea destination.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally, ensuring appropriate action and follow-up.
  • Supervise the secure storage of guest luggage and personal belongings while maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure bell carts, luggage rooms, storage areas, and related equipment are clean, organized, secure, and ready for operation.
  • Maintain the presentation and organization of the lobby, resort entrance, arrival areas, and Bell Desk in line with SLS standards.
  • Conduct team briefings and provide ongoing guidance on service standards, safety procedures, guest engagement, and daily resort operations.
  • Coach and support Bell team members, providing real-time feedback and identifying opportunities for development.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure colleagues consistently demonstrate professional grooming, conduct, and guest engagement.
  • Ensure guest requests and related tasks are properly recorded, tracked, and followed through using the relevant resort systems.
  • Coordinate closely with Concierge, Front Office, Guest Relations, Valet, Security, Housekeeping, and other resort departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure all safety, security, guest privacy, and luggage-handling procedures are followed consistently.
  • Support the preparation of Bell Desk operational reports, guest feedback, and relevant team updates when required.
  • Support the Rooms team with operational requirements and continuous improvement of the overall guest arrival and departure experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within Bell Desk, Front Office, Concierge, or Guest Services, preferably within a luxury or lifestyle resort environment.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Strong guest service and interpersonal skills with a warm, confident, and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Opera PMS, guest request management systems, or similar hospitality technology is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of transportation arrangements, destination experiences, and guest activities.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
