About the role

Ace Water Pte Ltd is looking for a Lorry Crane Driver to support our water and wastewater project sites. You will transport equipment, pipes and materials between our yard and project sites, and carry out safe lifting and unloading operations with the lorry crane.

What you will do

  • Drive the company lorry crane to deliver equipment, pipes, tools and materials to and from project sites.
  • Operate the lorry crane safely for loading, unloading and lifting works on site.
  • Carry out pre-use checks of the lorry, crane and lifting gear, and report any defects promptly.
  • Make sure loads are properly secured and within the crane's safe working load.
  • Work closely with the site supervisor, rigger and signalman during lifting operations.
  • Follow the lifting plan, permit-to-work and all company and site safety rules.
  • Keep the vehicle clean, well maintained and ready for use, and arrange servicing when due.
  • Keep simple records such as delivery orders, trip logs and inspection checklists.
  • Help with general site and yard work when required.
  • Take on other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

  • A valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence.
  • A valid Lorry Crane Operator certificate.
  • At least 5 years of experience driving a lorry crane, preferably in construction or water/wastewater projects.
  • Good knowledge of safe lifting practices and of Singapore roads.
  • A clean driving and safety record.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors and on construction sites.
  • Responsible, punctual and a good team player.
  • Able to work overtime or on weekends when needed.
