The posting

We are looking for a strategic, well-connected Business Development & Market Expansion Manager to help drive the Company’s growth into new local and overseas markets.

Working closely with senior management, you will identify market opportunities, develop entry strategies, and build partnerships that create long-term business value. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys market research, relationship building, and turning insights into commercial opportunities.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Company’s long-term expansion strategy into key markets.
  • Work with senior management on technology licensing, joint ventures, and other collaboration opportunities.
  • Identify new markets, products, services, and distribution channels.
  • Develop market-entry plans and strengthen the Company’s competitive positioning.
  • Analyse customer research, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Build relationships with business consultants, government agencies, industry associations, and academic institutions.
  • Represent the Company at conferences, seminars, and industry events.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, briefings, and information sessions to develop new and existing relationships.

What we’re looking for

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ business development experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally.
  • Knowledge of automation technology is an advantage, but not essential.
