Our client is an established A1 main contractor in Singapore with experience delivering large-scale building and infrastructure projects.

They are seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to oversee M&E planning, technical coordination and project delivery, working closely with consultants, contractors and internal project teams to achieve project objectives in cost, quality and programme.

Responsibilities

  • Lead M&E planning and coordination for building and infrastructure projects, covering technical proposals, budgeting, procurement and quality requirements.
  • Review M&E designs, shop drawings and technical submissions to ensure compliance, functionality and buildability.
  • Work with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and coordinate design requirements.
  • Support tender preparation, contractor sourcing, tender evaluation and the appointment of consultants and contractors.
  • Drive value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives without compromising quality, safety or performance.
  • Oversee M&E project execution, monitoring progress, budgets, quality and defect rectification.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams and coordinate stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Support long-term equipment maintenance and asset replacement planning, where required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in M&E construction planning, technical coordination and project execution.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E building services, installation methods, construction technologies and applicable quality and safety standards.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
  • Good commercial awareness, with the ability to manage cost, quality and productivity.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with large-scale projects, particularly projects exceeding S$100 million, would be advantageous.

  • Working hours: 5 Days
  • Salary: up to S$9,200 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
