The posting

The Marketplace is the rewards shopping experience within the Achievers platform. Its performance is shaped by a connected set of drivers, including member access, traffic, utilization, conversion, redemption, catalogue relevance, vendor performance, fulfilment reliability and the economics of each transaction.

As Manager, Marketplace Performance Intelligence, you will give Marketplace one clear view of performance and turn intelligence into coordinated action. You will lead Marketplace operational analytics and identify opportunities to improve performance and scalability, own the analytics roadmap and recurring performance routines, and shape executive narratives/decisions.

You will work in close partnership with the Finance Manager, Marketplace through a formal dotted-line relationship, connecting FP&A’s official financial outlook and governance with deeper customer, member and operational evidence. This role is also expected to structure and execute complex analyses that are cross-functional, commercially material, ambiguous or executive-facing.

Success requires strong analytical judgement, commercial curiosity and executive communication. You will work across Marketplace, FP&A, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Product Marketing, BI, Product Analytics, ProDev and Support to strengthen the analytical foundation, clarify ownership and translate findings into measurable action.

How you'll shape Performance Intelligence at Achievers:

  • Own Marketplace performance priorities and routines, connecting operating drivers, the financial outlook and action.
  • Define KPIs, targets and benchmarks; govern progress against agreed customer, commercial and operating outcomes.
  • Synthesize financial, customer and operational evidence into clear implications, recommendations, decisions and owners.
  • Own the Marketplace performance storyline for operating reviews, including risks, outlook, actions and follow-through.
  • Distinguish temporary variance from structural change and surface emerging gaps before they become material issues.
  • Interpret global member, redemption and market trends; identify implications for priorities and catalogue strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional, commercially material/ambiguous analyses, and build models where no established method exists.
  • Use SQL, BI and quantitative methods to investigate performance, test assumptions and review logic, code and methods.
  • Evaluate customer, member, vendor, product and operating trade-offs, using FP&A input where financial insight required.
  • Apply eCommerce, incentives, analytics and technology research to identify gaps, emerging risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop concise, decision-ready presentations for opportunities, risks and investments using validated evidence/models.
  • Own analytics intake/Service Desk governance; prioritization, capacity, standards and the Marketplace analytics roadmap.
  • Define data and technology needs with BI, IT and Product Analytics; strengthen access, quality, definitions, documentation.
  • Clarify feature instrumentation, analytical ownership and outcome measurement with Product Analytics and ProDev.
  • Prioritize automation, reusable products and self-service capabilities that reduce recurring effort, increase analytical reach.
  • Build metric literacy, drive use of analytical products and measure timeliness, reusability, decision influence and impact.
  • Ensure analytical practices meet applicable data-access, privacy and governance requirements.
  • Govern material analytics initiatives from problem definition through delivery, adoption and outcome assessment.
  • Translate recurring issues and findings into clearly owned opportunities based on value, risk, effort and urgency.
  • Define intended outcomes, align accountable owners and ensure implemented actions are measured/reflected in priorities.
  • Align financial priorities, inputs and timing with the Finance Manager while preserving FP&A governance and sign-off.
  • Advise Marketplace and cross-functional leaders on performance drivers, trade-offs, interventions and required decisions.
  • Resolve competing priorities, dependencies, risks and cross-functional delivery barriers.
  • Lead, coach and develop operational analytics talent, embedded FP&A analytics, and improvement partners.
  • Delegate by expertise and priority, protect specialist capacity and make trade-offs visible to stakeholders.
  • Hold the team accountable for timely, accurate, reproducible and decision-useful work with measurable impact.
  • Establish strong practices for documentation, analytical review, knowledge sharing, development and succession.
  • Create an inclusive, curious and outcome-focused culture that encourages constructive challenge, innovation, learning.

Experience we feel will set you up for success:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial analytics, business performance, eCommerce, retail, or related environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in rewards, recognition, loyalty, incentives, marketplaces or global catalogue environments an asset.
  • Experience leading analysts/cross-disciplinary teams, including coaching, performance management and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and execute complex analysis where the question, data or methodology is unclear.
  • Strong SQL and BI fluency, with experience interrogating complex datasets and reviewing analytical logic and methods.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, Amplitude, R, Python or Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience with statistical methods, predictive modelling, experimentation or AI-enabled analytics and automation.
  • Strong financial/commercial fluency, including ability to connect customer and operating behaviour to business decisions.
  • Experience defining KPI frameworks, analytical standards, data needs and scalable reporting/self-service capabilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with experience advising senior executives and responding to challenge.
  • Proven ability to influence across Finance, Product, Engineering, BI, Customer Success and Operations.
  • Independent, practical and solution-oriented judgement, with ability to balance analytical depth, pace and business value.

What Success Looks Like

  • The build of one trusted Marketplace performance story connecting operating drivers, financial outcomes and action.
  • Emerging risks and opportunities are identified early, with evidence-based guidance on where intervention will yield value.
  • Executive audiences receive concise, credible and decision-ready presentations that withstand challenge.
  • Performance measures, analytical products and reporting routines are trusted, understood and consistently used.
  • More demand is met through reusable models, automation and self-service rather than repeated manual analysis.
  • Improvement priorities have clear owners, intended outcomes and measured business impact.
  • The team delivers timely, high-quality work while increasing analytical maturity and capacity across Marketplace.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
