To fuel that growth, we have another exciting opportunity as an Associate Underwriter with Acrisure. This position is responsible for assisting the licensed Benefits Advisors in preparing plan analysis to seek new clients and to retain existing clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Learn Health Care terminology and Underwriting Process
  • Spreadsheet data for analysis
  • Analyze utilization reporting
  • Spreadsheet budget projections for consultant review and input
  • Assist Account Consultants in creating Executive level summaries

Education and /or Experience

  • Must possess College Degree or minimum of 5 years of experience in Employee Benefit insurance
  • Must possess NJ Life & Health license, or be willing to obtain

Technology Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and AI
  • Proficient Analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, responsive and self-motivated
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a faced past work environment
  • Exceptional math skills
  • Must be a team player and task oriented
  • Pleasant and positive attitude

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $111,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
