Je zet jouw technische expertise in om productieprocessen slimmer, efficiënter en toekomstgerichter te maken. Je krijgt verantwoordelijkheid, ruimte voor initiatief en de kans om mee richting te geven aan technische oplossingen. Samen met ervaren collega's werk je aan projecten met impact en blijf je jouw expertise verder uitbouwen.

Je functie

  • Als Senior Automation Engineer neem je een inhoudelijk trekkende rol op binnen uitdagende automatisatieprojecten in de industrie. Je vertaalt de noden van de klant naar heldere functionele analyses en werkt deze verder uit tot gedetailleerde technische oplossingen.
  • Je staat in voor de programmatie en configuratie van PLC, SCADA en DCS systemen en bewaakt de technische kwaliteit doorheen het volledige project.
  • Je volgt jouw projecten op van engineering tot oplevering. Daarbij neem je onder meer FAT, IO testen en de inbedrijfname van de software op de site voor jouw rekening.
  • Vanuit jouw ervaring denk je actief mee over technische keuzes, optimalisaties en mogelijke verbeteringen. Je neemt ownership en bent een technisch aanspreekpunt binnen het projectteam.
  • Je deelt jouw expertise met collega's en begeleidt junior automation engineers in hun verdere ontwikkeling. Je stuurt hen inhoudelijk aan, ondersteunt hen bij technische vraagstukken en draagt bij aan kennisdeling binnen het team.
  • Je werkt voor sterke industriële klanten en komt in aanraking met uiteenlopende productieprocessen. Dat zorgt voor de nodige technische variatie en uitdaging.
  • Je werkt hoofdzakelijk vanuit ons kantoor in Herentals, gecombineerd met aanwezigheid bij klanten voor testen en inbedrijfnames. Daarnaast is er de mogelijkheid om enkele dagen per week van thuis uit te werken.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt ruime ervaring binnen industriële automatisatie en beschikt over een sterke technische kennis van PLC, SCADA en/of DCS systemen.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het uitwerken van functionele en gedetailleerde analyses en weet deze zelfstandig te vertalen naar een kwalitatieve automatisatieoplossing.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met verschillende fases van een automatisatieproject, van analyse en programmatie tot FAT, IO testen en inbedrijfname op de site.
  • Je neemt ownership over jouw projecten en durft technische keuzes te maken, te onderbouwen en af te stemmen met collega's en klanten.
  • Je deelt graag jouw expertise en neemt een coachende rol op naar junior automation engineers. Je ondersteunt hen bij technische vraagstukken en helpt hen groeien binnen het vakgebied.
  • Je bent analytisch en oplossingsgericht, neemt initiatief en houdt ook bij complexere technische uitdagingen het overzicht.
  • Je communiceert vlot met collega's, klanten en andere technische disciplines en werkt graag samen binnen multidisciplinaire projectteams.
