Voor een innovatieve speler binnen de textielsector zoeken we een ervaren Product Developer die mee wil bouwen aan kwalitatieve en vooruitstrevende kledingcollecties. In deze rol krijg je de kans om producten van concept tot eindresultaat mee vorm te geven en een directe impact te hebben op het succes van de collectie.

Jouw uitdaging

Als Product Developer ben je een sleutelfiguur binnen het ontwikkelingsteam. Je houdt de vinger aan de pols van de markt, signaleert nieuwe kansen en vertaalt ideeën naar concrete producten.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Het ontwikkelen van nieuwe producten en het optimaliseren van bestaande collecties.
  • Het coördineren en opvolgen van het volledige ontwikkelings- en sampleproces.
  • Het selecteren en beheren van leveranciers met oog voor kwaliteit, prijs en leverbetrouwbaarheid.
  • Het onderhandelen van aankoopprijzen en bijdragen aan rendementsverbeteringen.
  • Het bewaken van kwaliteitsnormen via testen en controles.
  • Het opvolgen van ontwikkelingsbudgetten en productiekosten.
  • Het vertalen van klantbehoeften en markttrends naar innovatieve oplossingen.
  • Het samenwerken met diverse interne en externe stakeholders om projecten succesvol af te ronden.

Wie ben jij?

Je bent een gedreven professional die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt en energie haalt uit het creëren van sterke producten.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • Een bachelor- of masterdiploma.
  • Minstens vijf jaar relevante ervaring binnen de confectie- of textielsector.
  • Een sterke kennis van materialen, stoffen en productontwikkeling.
  • Een goed inzicht in markttrends en commerciële opportuniteiten.
  • Vlotte communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels
  • Een planmatige, zelfstandige en resultaatgerichte aanpak.
  • Een gezonde dosis initiatief en probleemoplossend vermogen.
  • Bereidheid om sporadisch internationaal te reizen (ongeveer 20% van de tijd).
