Voor onze site zoeken we een ploegbaas die de dagelijkse operaties in goede banen leidt én zelf meewerkt waar nodig. Dit is een functie voor iemand die overzicht bewaart, beslissingen durft nemen en graag aanwezig is op de werkvloer.

Een typische dag? Je start met een ronde over de site, stemt de planning af met de ploegen, ontvangt chauffeurs en leveranciers, houdt toezicht op de verwerking van metalen en grijpt meteen in wanneer een machine stilvalt of een levering moet worden bijgestuurd.

Je taken:

  • Aansturen en ondersteunen van de medewerkers op de site.
  • Organiseren van de dagelijkse werking: aanvoer, weging, sortering, verwerking en afvoer van metalen.
  • Toezicht houden op het veilig gebruik van kranen, machines en materieel.
  • Operationele problemen snel oplossen en de continuïteit bewaken.
  • Waken over veiligheid, procedures en orde op de site.
  • Overleggen met directie over voorraad, planning en verbeteringen.
  • Aanspreekpunt zijn voor chauffeurs, klanten en leveranciers.
  • Je hebt ervaring in een leidinggevende en praktische functie binnen metaalrecyclage, schroothandel, bouw, logistiek of een industriële omgeving.
  • Je bent sterk in plannen en organiseren en houdt het hoofd koel wanneer het druk wordt.
  • Je communiceert duidelijk en spreekt mensen op een respectvolle manier aan.
  • Je werkt graag buiten en tussen de operatie, maar kan ook de nodige administratie opvolgen.
  • Veiligheid en kwaliteit zijn voor jou vanzelfsprekend.
