Als Manufacturing Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het optimaliseren van productieprocessen en het ondersteunen van operationele verbeteringsprojecten. Je speelt een sleutelrol in het verhogen van de efficiëntie, kwaliteit en veiligheid binnen de productieomgeving.

Een greep uit het takenpakket:

  • Waken over de naleving van veiligheidsvoorschriften, procedures en bedrijfsrichtlijnen.
  • Organiseren en geven van veiligheidstrainingen waar nodig.
  • Leiden en bijwonen van veiligheidsvergaderingen, toolboxmeetings en opleidingen.
  • Onderzoeken van incidenten en bijna-ongevallen en implementeren van corrigerende maatregelen.
  • Ontwikkelen van technische oplossingen voor complexe productie- en procesuitdagingen.
  • Uitwerken en verbeteren van plant layouts, productieopstellingen en technische infrastructuur.
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor lokale facilitaire en technische projecten.
  • Opvolgen van projectbudgetten, planning en technische prestaties.
  • Samenwerken met productie- en onderhoudsteams om kwaliteits- en procesdoelstellingen te realiseren.
  • Initiëren en begeleiden van continue verbeteringsprojecten binnen de productieomgeving.
  • Identificeren en implementeren van best practices op internationaal niveau.
  • Toezien op de uitvoering van preventieve onderhoudsprogramma’s en Total Productive Maintenance-initiatieven.
  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma in een technische of ingenieursrichting.
  • Ervaring met procesverbetering, probleemoplossing en prestatie-indicatoren.
  • Kennis van materiaalplanning en ERP-systemen (ervaring met BPCS of M3 is een pluspunt).
  • Vlotte beheersing van het Engels; bijkomende talen vormen een meerwaarde.
  • Bereidheid om internationaal te reizen (tot ongeveer 40%).
  • Sterk analytisch en probleemoplossend vermogen.
  • Zelfstandig kunnen werken met een grote dosis initiatief.
  • Teamgerichte ingesteldheid en sterke samenwerkingsvaardigheden.
  • Communicatief sterk en in staat om verschillende stakeholders te begeleiden.
  • Organisatorisch sterk met oog voor kwaliteit, veiligheid en efficiëntie.
