  Position Summary Recruiter primarily makes outbound calls to potential candidates, sources candidates, and attends job fairs.  Recruiters are problem solvers with good negotiation skills who are self-driven and motivated to meet individual and team goals.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create Requisition in Dayforce for new openings Ensures all jobs are posted in compliance with company and EEOC guidelines

Sources for candidates using various job boards and social networking platforms Participates in community engagement activities to attract candidates Prescreen candidates

Screens candidates before conducting 1st interview If Candidate has employment history with ACT, Rehire Policy is reviewed. Conducts 1st Interviews Reviews attendance Policy- send any day off request to operations for approval via email, prints acceptance of request and provides to RA to be filed with new hire paperwork Conducts Reference Checks Communicates with appropriate Hiring Manger/Trainer regarding new classes Updates Recruiting Dashboard Conducts post offering screenings, ensures that all new candidates complete Drug & Alcohol test (if applicable) and Background screenings, insures compliance Participates in daily meeting to provide report of progress Maintains spreadsheet with class information, candidates hired and/rejected candidates
