The posting

The Principal serves as the instructional leader and operational head of the school, responsible for cultivating a student-centered culture, advancing academic excellence, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all. This position includes full supervisory responsibilities, oversight of curriculum and instruction, and stewardship of school climate and community engagement.

We are looking for the school leader who will inspire and sustain a shared vision of learning aligned with the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders which includes:

  • Growing an equitable and inclusive school culture
  • Demonstrating strong instructional leadership grounded in data-informed decision-making
  • Fostering collaborative staff development and distributed leadership
  • Leading the implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and restorative practices to foster a respectful, proactive school climate
  • Championing student-centered, standards-based instruction and personalized learning
  • Ensuring high-quality professional growth aligned with school goals and continuous improvement plans
  • Promoting strong family and community partnerships to enhance student success
  • Managing all operational, staffing, safety, and fiscal aspects of the school
