The posting

Job Objectives:

To be able to accomplish a given task at a given time in a safe and sound manner. Cladder is a skilled trade role, in which the Cladder works within a team, reporting to the Supervisor to lay a variety of metal products.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Set up and use cladding related equipment
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts using required tools and equipment.
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and approved codes.
  • Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to work sites and experience in using powered lift equipment.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/Certificate in Cladding

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years Cladding experience

Person Requirements:

  • Ability to work and communicate with others
  • Ability to install all kinds of architectural products
  • Ability to instruct apprentices and new workers
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to learn and obey our extensive company safety policy.

Reports to: Workshop Manager/Project Manager
