Krijg je energie van het behalen van ambitieuze doelstellingen, het coachen van teams en het verbeteren van processen? Als Operationeel Directeur neem je een sleutelpositie binnen de organisatie in. Je geeft richting aan de operationele werking, inspireert leidinggevenden en zorgt ervoor dat kwaliteit, efficiëntie en klanttevredenheid elke dag naar een hoger niveau worden getild. Je komt terecht in een dynamisch en hecht team waar samenwerking, engagement en ondernemerschap centraal staan. Als Operationeel Directeur ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse aansturing en verdere uitbouw van de operationele activiteiten. Je staat onder meer in voor:

  • Het bepalen en uitrollen van de operationele strategie.
  • Het aansturen, coachen en ontwikkelen van verantwoordelijken en teams.

Het bewaken van kwaliteit, veiligheid, productiviteit en klanttevredenheid.

  • Het opvolgen van KPI's, operationele kosten en rendabiliteit.
  • Het anticiperen op personeels-, materiaal- en organisatiebehoeften.
  • Het snel identificeren en oplossen van operationele uitdagingen.
  • Het optimaliseren van processen en het leiden van verbeterprojecten.
  • Het coördineren van verschillende vestigingen en verantwoordelijken.
  • Het voorbereiden van analyses, rapporteringen en actieplannen voor het management.
  • Het onderhouden van professionele relaties met klanten en stakeholders.

Wie ben jij?

Je bent een sterke people manager die operationele uitdagingen ziet als opportuniteiten.

  • Je combineert een analytische blik met een hands-on mentaliteit en weet teams te motiveren om samen resultaten te behalen.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • instens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen transport, distributie of logistiek.
  • Ervaring in het aansturen van meerdere teams en leidinggevenden.
  • Sterke leiderschapsvaardigheden en een natuurlijke overtuigingskracht.
  • Een grondige kennis van operationele processen, KPI-sturing en rendabiliteitsbeheer.

Uitstekende organisatorische en analytische capaciteiten.

Het vermogen om onder druk prioriteiten te stellen en beslissingen te nemen.

  • Ervaring met change management en continue verbetering.
  • Een zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands, Frans én Engels.
  • Een rijbewijs B en de nodige flexibiliteit.
