The posting

Als Lead Technician coördineer je een team van een 4-tal interne techniekers en begeleid je onze externe contractors in hun taken in onze fabriek te Schoten. Dit betekent dat je o.a. instaat voor planning, coaching, toolbox-meetings, dagelijks overleg en sturing. Hierbij heb je uiteraard oog voor alle veiligheidsaspecten inherent aan een onderhoudsdienst, en je werkt nauw samen met andere departementen zoals productie en kwaliteit om samen met je team de juiste interventies stipt en nauwgezet uit te voeren.

  • Organiseren en plannen van het technisch onderhoud
  • Werkvoorbereiding van de technische interventies
  • Aansturen en coachen van een technisch team
  • Controle uitvoeren op het geleverde werk van techniekers
  • Coördineren en tijdig inzetten van interne en externe mensen
  • Opvolgen van bestellingen en organisatie van het spare parts magazijn
  • Proactief meewerken aan verbeterprojecten en optimalisaties op de site
  • Naast de coördinerende taken, werk je ook actief mee bij storingen
  • Hierbij rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Technical Service Manager, en werk je nauw samen met andere departementen binnen het bedrijf.
  • Voor deze functie wordt je aan 70% operationeel ingepland en tijdens de overige 30% van je tijd neem je coördinerende / superviserende taken op.
  • Tijdens je opleiding zal je tijdens enkele nachtshiften worden ingepland
  • Je hebt een technisch Bachelordiploma (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring), bij voorkeur richting elektromechanica
  • Je kan rekenen op enkele jaren ervaring in een onderhoudsorganisatieAls peoplemanager kan je rekenen op een eerste ervaring in het aansturen van een team
  • Je hebt een bewezen kennis op vlak van IT systemen, meer specifiek naar het gebruik van een Maintenance Planning tool (zoals bvb SAP-PM)
  • Je beschikt over een hands-on mentaliteit en je vertoeft graag op de werkvloer, om je collega techniekers bij te staan bij complexere problemen en om hen actief te coachen
  • Je bent bereid om ook te fungeren als meewerkend technieker in het team
  • Hoewel de functie hoofdzakelijk een functie in dagdienst betreft, ben je voldoende flexibel om deel te nemen aan het permanentiesysteem (1 week op 4 gemiddeld) en hou je connectie met de verschillende ploegen.
  • Je bent sterk in communicatie, en beheerst naast het Nederlands ook voldoende Engels om met externe contractors/leveranciers te communiceren
