The posting

Adecco Torhout zoekt een heftruckchauffeur voor een metaalbedrijf in regio Zwevezele. Je staat in voor het laden van vrachtwagens en werkt in een 2-ploegenstelsel. Na een positieve interimperiode maak je kans op een vast contract. Onze klant is een toonaangevende producent van stalen bouwmaterialen voor zowel nieuwbouw- als renovatieprojecten. Het bedrijf vervaardigt onder andere dak- en wandbekleding, sandwichpanelen, vloerelementen en andere metalen constructies. Hun producten vinden hun toepassing in diverse sectoren zoals industrie, landbouw, residentiële bouw en de doe-het-zelfmarkt.

Jouw taken:

  • Laden van vrachtwagens volgens de geldende veiligheids- en kwaliteitsvoorschriften.
  • Besturen van de heftruck en de rolbrug voor het verplaatsen en laden van materialen.
  • Afmelden van uitgaande goederen met behulp van een handscanner.
  • Controleren of de juiste producten correct geladen worden voor verzending.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je beschikt over een geldig heftruckattest en hebt ervaring met het besturen van een heftruck.
  • Veiligheid staat voor jou altijd op de eerste plaats en je rijdt op een verantwoorde en defensieve manier.
  • Je neemt graag verantwoordelijkheid op en kan zelfstandig werken.
  • Je communiceert vlot met collega's, chauffeurs en leidinggevenden.
  • Je werkt graag buiten en schrikt niet terug van verschillende weersomstandigheden.
  • Je bent bereid om te werken in een 2-ploegenstelsel.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B.
