RESPONSIBILITIES: Work actively with team members to analyze and resolve application, batch, interface, and data issues across Legal and CRG platforms. Monitoring/Observability maintenance and enhancement on Prometheus, Grafana, Rabbit MQ cluster queues Identify defects, discrepancies, and trends through log analysis, SQL investigation, telemetry review, and code-level debugging. Manage incidents end-to-end and communicate effectively with users, application owners, engineers, infrastructure teams, and senior stakeholders. Improve application stability and performance by identifying recurring failures, control gaps, process weaknesses, and capacity constraints, and recommending permanent fixes. Adopt tools developed by AppBank Engineering to automate failure detection, surface production health anomalies, and support health restoration with a focus on risk and cost optimization. Identify alerts, checks, and operational processes that can be automated, and partner with engineering teams to implement automation. Challenge existing application setups, workflows, and support processes to improve resilience, recoverability, and operational efficiency. Participate actively in change and release management with a strong focus on production risk reduction, implementation readiness, validation, and post-change assurance. Build and improve runbooks, support documentation, and knowledge assets to reduce operational error, improve consistency, and increase team fungibility. Develop reports and dashboards that provide trending statistics on application health, incident patterns, SLA performance, and service quality. Use approved AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Amazon Q Developer, Gemini, or equivalent enterprise tools to support troubleshooting, scripting, documentation drafting, incident summarization, and knowledge retrieval, subject to firm policy, confidentiality standards, and human review. Learn and support proprietary technologies as required; prior knowledge of firm-specific platforms is not required before hire. Support hybrid and AWS-aligned operating practices, including monitoring, access controls, operational readiness, resiliency checks, and production support for cloud-hosted or integrated services. Requisitos e qualificações Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Experience with software development, application production support, site reliability engineering, or related experience in an enterprise environment. Must-Have Skills and/or Licenses Required to Perform the Job Strong grounding in Computer Science fundamentals, including practical use of data structures. Proven problem-solving capability in development or production environments, including pattern recognition, root cause analysis, troubleshooting discipline, and recommendation of sustainable fixes. Strong Unix/Linux troubleshooting skills. Good understanding of ETL, batch processing, scheduling, dependency management, and capacity management. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical and functional issues to application development teams, business users, and senior stakeholders. Proficiency in at least one structured or object-oriented programming language such as Java, C, C++, .NET, or similar. Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Shell, Perl, JavaScript, or Python. Working knowledge of one or more RDBMS platforms such as Sybase ASE/IQ, Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, or similar. AWS-related skills, including working knowledge of: EC2 S3 IAM CloudWatch Lambda RDS Understanding of cloud logging, alerting, monitoring, access management, and production support considerations in hybrid cloud environments. Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar. Exposure to AI-assisted engineering and productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Amazon Q Developer, Gemini, or equivalent, with the ability to use them responsibly for troubleshooting, scripting, incident analysis, and documentation. Prometheus - Observability on metrics exposed from application & HAProxy stats page. Pulse Prometheus - Observability on pulse prometheus metrics exposed from Rabbit MQ cluster queues Grafana - Support and enhancement on Grafana dashboards SLI/SLO dashboard - maintenance Maintain Fabric polices and alerting support and Pagerduty Config for all RCE apps
