The posting

  • Oversee the technical design and execution of infrastructure and building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Manage project lifecycles from feasibility studies to commissioning and handover.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure the integration of sustainable practices and technologies into project designs.
  • Liaise with clients, government agencies, and community stakeholders to align project goals with broader objectives.
  • Present technical findings and project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in managing large scale infrastructure and building projects
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
  • Commitment to sustainability and innovation in infrastructure development.
