The posting

Title: Service and Field Technician, Aeroseal Europe

Location: Poznan or Wroclaw, Poland — Aeroseal Europe Technical Centre

Reports to: Head of Technical Operations, Aeroseal Europe

Role Summary

Aeroseal is transforming the building industry by making it easy to achieve exceptional energy performance and comfort in any building. Our patented technology automatically seals air leaks from the inside — delivering better airtightness, improved energy efficiency, and healthier indoor environments.

Backed by the likes of Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Aramco, we’re expanding rapidly across Europe and are building a world-class technical team to support that growth. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-energy, mission-driven company at the forefront of the low-carbon building revolution.

The Service and Field Technician will be the technical authority for Aeroseal Europe’s machine fleet — responsible for all servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of our Aeroseal and AeroBarrier equipment. You’ll keep our machines performing at their best, support partners and customers with technical troubleshooting, and travel across Europe to deliver and support AeroBarrier installations in the field. You’ll also feed your hands-on experience directly back to Aeroseal’s engineering team in the US, helping shape the next generation of our technology. This role is expected to grow into a Technical Lead position as the European team expands.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Servicing & Repairs: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on Aeroseal and AeroBarrier machines — minimising downtime and ensuring every machine is fit for deployment.

Calibration & Testing: Calibrate and test equipment before and after every deployment, maintaining accurate service records and machine performance logs.

Technical Support: Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to partners, contractors, and customers across Europe — diagnosing issues quickly and clearly, and seeing them through to resolution.

Field Installations: Travel across Europe to support and lead AeroBarrier installations — operating equipment on-site, troubleshooting in the field, and ensuring quality outcomes for every customer.

Technical Liaison: Act as the technical voice of Aeroseal Europe with Aeroseal HQ — systematically feeding back field experience to inform machine design, functionality improvements, and continuous development.

Training Support: Assist in the design and delivery of technical training for partners and operators, helping build capability across the growing European network.

Documentation: Maintain service records, maintenance schedules, fault logs, and technical documentation to a high standard — building the foundation for a scalable technical operation.

Health & Safety: Ensure all workshop and field activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.

Salary Range: PLN 8,500 – 10,500 gross/month

About You

  • 3–5 years of experience in a field service, maintenance, or service engineering role — ideally within HVAC, industrial equipment, compressed air systems, or building services.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude: you can open an unfamiliar machine, trace a fault, and fix it without waiting for instructions.
  • Experience with pneumatic systems, pressure equipment, or fluid handling is a strong advantage.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented — you keep a tidy workshop, thorough service records, and a systematic approach to fault-finding.
  • Comfortable providing technical support directly to customers and partners: clear, calm, and credible under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and confident working independently in the field, often without immediate support.
  • Willing to travel significantly across Europe, including occasional weekends away from base. Daily allowances and expenses fully covered.
  • Valid driver’s licence required.
  • Fluent in English. Other European languages are a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
