Job Description

Join a company that's reintroducing itself to the aviation community we've helped advance for more than a century. At Honeywell Aerospace (NASDAQ: HONA), we're launching as an independent, publicly traded aerospace and defense company built on a legacy of operational excellence and mission-focused execution.

Our new brand identity pairs that heritage with real momentum, as we build technology that helps pilots navigate with confidence, aircraft operate more efficiently, and operators stay ahead of change. With our systems on board 90% of the world's aircraft, your work here has reach that's rare to find anywhere else.

Focusing on our customers, investing in innovation, and building a culture of accountability and performance is how we're shaping what comes next.

Every horizon. Every mission. Every day.

Honeywell Aerospace products and services are found on aircraft across commercial aviation, defense and space — from engines and cockpit electronics to cabin systems, mechanical components and connectivity solutions. Our technology helps operators fly more safely, reduce fuel consumption, improve on-time performance and deliver a better experience for the people on board.

As aviation continues to evolve, we're also developing systems to support autonomous and supersonic platforms, bringing the same focus on safety and efficiency to the next era of flight. With approximately 36,000 employees worldwide and net sales of $17.4B in 2025, Honeywell Aerospace is one of the largest dedicated aerospace companies in the world. This role will define and execute Honeywell’s global UAS commercial strategy, build and scale a world‑class sales organization, and position Honeywell as the preferred provider of autonomy, avionics, navigation, and integrated mission systems across commercial and dual‑use platforms.

This leader will report to the General Manager for the UAS/UAM business and will be instrumental in shaping Honeywell Aerospace’s next stage of growth in an emerging and highly fragmented global market.

  • Identify and deploy channel partners or distribution models where they strengthen coverage and speed to market.
  • Implement scalable, repeatable sales processes for high‑volume engagement.

4. Lead Business Development and Customer Engagement

  • Own the full opportunity lifecycle from prospecting to negotiation, contracting, and ongoing account leadership.
  • Build strong executive‑level relationships with UAS OEMs, operators, integrators, and defense customers.
  • Ensure customer needs and Honeywell’s technology roadmap remain tightly aligned.

5. Grow the UAM Customer Portfolio

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing UAM customers, ensuring continuity and exceptional program support.
  • Identify emerging UAM OEMs and proactively drive new partnership and sales opportunities.
  • Support UAM growth while ensuring alignment with the broader UAS‑first strategy.

6. Provide Cross‑Functional Leadership and Influence

  • Partner with product management, engineering, marketing, and program teams to develop offers and solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Deliver structured Voice of Customer (VoC) insights to inform autonomy, avionics, navigation, and payload integration roadmaps.
  • Influence across Honeywell organizations to secure resources and drive strategic alignment.

7. Drive Operational and Commercial Excellence

  • Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and strategic insights for senior leadership.
  • Track market trends, competitive dynamics, pricing movements, and ecosystem changes.
  • Lead disciplined sales processes to ensure strong financial performance.

8. Represent Honeywell as an Industry Thought Leader

  • Partner with marketing on customer‑facing messaging, pursuit materials, and campaigns.
  • Represent Honeywell at industry events, regulatory forums, and global UAS associations.
  • Serve as a visible, credible voice for Honeywell in the UAS ecosystem.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
