The posting

What you will do:

As Aeyde continues to grow, we are looking for a Merchandising Analyst to join our Global Planning team and strengthen our data-driven approach to merchandising performance and commercial decision-making.

In this role, you will own key merchandising reports, dashboards, and product data, translating performance data across D2C and B2B into actionable insights. Working closely with Global Planning, Merchandising, BI, SCM, and Product Development, you will support trading decisions and improve reporting processes and planning tools.

This is a hands-on, analytical role for someone with a strong eye for detail who enjoys translating data into actionable insights and improving reporting and planning processes as Aeyde continues to grow.

Performance & Business Analysis

  • Own the preparation, validation and timely delivery of weekly, monthly and seasonal merchandising performance reports.
  • Own the Weekly Trading Report and prepare weekly trade slides, analyzing merchandising performance across products, categories and collections to highlight key trends, risks and opportunities and provide actionable insights to support trading actions and decision-making across Global Planning and Management.
  • Manage and maintain the Global Sell-Through (ST%) Report across B2B and D2C, consolidating external B2B and internal D2C data to provide a consistent view of product performance.
  • Conduct pre- and in-season ad hoc analyses to support merchandising decisions.
  • Support B2B performance analyses and stock requests.
  • Prepare CO/MD lists based on performance results.
  • Monitor MD performance daily during EOSS and prepare MD period performance reviews and full-season performance reports.
  • Evaluate seasonal performance against previous seasons and relevant benchmarks, documenting key learnings to inform future assortment planning and collection development.

Reporting, Dashboards & KPI Management

  • Maintain and continuously improve merchandising reporting tools, dashboards and analytical processes to ensure reliable and transparent performance reporting.
  • Develop new dashboards and reports, such as reorder dashboards, in collaboration with the BI team.
  • Coordinate with BI to define and document consistent Merchandising KPIs and reporting standards across D2C and B2B.
  • Identify and test opportunities to leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve reporting efficiency and support merchandising and planning processes.

Merchandising Planning & Commercial Tools

  • Support the development and maintenance of planning tools under the guidance of the Merchandise Planning team, including demand planning tools, inventory steering tools and commercial planning files.
  • Support the maintenance and updating of assortment tools and visual overviews.
  • Support the preparation of strategy decks by translating complex data into clear presentations, summaries and recommendations.

Product Data & ERP Management

  • Own product data entry and maintenance across relevant systems, including initial ERP uploads and seasonal updates of product trade fields.
  • Maintain and distribute the Product Information Sheet, ensuring product information is accurate, complete and up to date.
  • Ensure consistent product data structures across systems and reporting tools, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies and continuously improving data maintenance processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with BI on reporting requirements, KPI definitions, dashboard development and data quality.
  • Work with SCM to support data consistency and efficient cross-functional processes.
  • Partner with Merchandise Planning, Collection Merchandising, B2B and Product Development to understand reporting needs, share performance insights and support day-to-day business decisions.

What you will bring:

  • At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a similar analytical role, preferably within the fashion industry.
  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable commercial insights.
  • Strong commercial mindset and confidence collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to take ownership of reporting, dashboards, and product data while supporting planning processes.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with BI tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.

What we offer:

  • A bright and spacious design office in the heart of Berlin embodying our brand values and focusing on employee well-being.
  • A unique chance to shape our company’s future and build a global brand, all within a motivating, international work environment with employees of 14+ nationalities.
  • A high level of responsibility, creative freedom, and the opportunity to bring your originality, ideas, and independence to life.
  • Once-per-season gift voucher, to be used on Aeyde footwear and accessories.
  • Subsidized Urban Sports Club membership, Berlin Public Transport pass or German lessons for international employees.
  • 30 days of holidays.
  • Flexible hybrid working model subject to team specifications.
  • Regular team events include our Christmas and Summer Party as well as extraordinary monthly team lunches.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
