Affilips is geen standaard productiebedrijf. Wij zijn een internationale speler gespecialiseerd in het produceren van hoogwaardige voorlegeringen (master alloys) van non-ferrometalen. We hebben één van de grootste productportfolio’s in onze sector wereldwijd en gebruiken hiervoor 50 verschillende metalen onder de vorm van schroot of primair materiaal. Onze producten vind je terug in zowat alle toepassingsgebieden van metalen; variërend van auto’s en vliegtuigmotoren tot batterijen, gevelpanelen en magneten. Kwaliteit staat daarbij centraal. Omwille van een pensionering zoeken we een Medewerker Labo. In deze functie speel je een belangrijke rol binnen onze kwaliteitscontrole en ondersteun je de productie door monsters correct voor te bereiden en analyses nauwkeurig uit te voeren.

Jouw rol en impact

  • Als Medewerker Labo zorg je ervoor dat monsternames en analyses op een correcte en betrouwbare manier worden uitgevoerd. Dankzij jouw nauwkeurige werk kunnen onze klanten rekenen op producten die voldoen aan de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met productie, kwaliteitsverantwoordelijken, magazijn voorbereiding en nabewerking en collega's binnen het labo. Daarbij combineer je praktisch werk met technische precisie.

Wat ga je doen?✓ Ontvangen, identificeren en registreren van gieterijmonsters ✓ Voorbereiden van monsters doorzagen, boren, frezen, draaien, slijpen en persen ✓ Verkleinen, malen en homogeniseren van monsters voor analyse ✓ Polijsten en reinigen van monsters volgens vastgelegde procedures ✓ Uitvoeren van voorbereidende werkzaamheden voor chemische en spectrometrische analyse ✓ Bevoorraden van analysetoestellen en verwerken van analyseresultaten ✓ Uitvoeren van gasanalyses en andere kwaliteitscontroles (Mobiele XRF, Laserdifractie en vonkemissie) ✓ Beheren en bewaren van referentie- en reservestalen ✓ Mee instaan voor orde, netheid en veiligheid binnen het labo ✓ Signaleren van afwijkingen en actief bijdragen aan kwaliteitsverbeteringen

Je werkt nauwkeurig en gestructureerd en hebt een sterke focus op kwaliteit. Je voelt je thuis in een technische omgeving en bent bereid om nieuwe analysetechnieken aan te leren.

Je brengt idealiter mee:

  • Een technische opleiding, bij voorkeur secundair chemie of graduaat chemie
  • Ervaring in een labo- of productieomgeving is een pluspunt
  • Affiniteit met techniek en metaalbewerking
  • Basiskennis van informaticatoepassingen
  • Een kritische en kwaliteitsbewuste ingesteldheid
  • Een hands-on mentaliteit en verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel
  • Teamspirit, leergierigheid en een positieve werkhouding
