We're Hiring: Sales Director

Full-Time • Exempt • Reports to the Executive Director

If you're a consultative seller with heart, a sharp eye for pipeline metrics, and the persistence to turn inquiries into move-ins, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the full sales cycle — generate leads, qualify prospects, run tours, and close move-ins to meet monthly and quarterly occupancy and revenue targets.
  • Build and execute a sales strategy aligned with our budgeted occupancy and financial goals.
  • Respond promptly and compassionately to every inquiry — phone, email, walk-in, or online — and keep detailed, accurate records in our CRM.
  • Cultivate referral relationships with hospitals, rehab centers, home health agencies, physicians, and elder law attorneys.
  • Host networking events, professional luncheons, and educational seminars that put our community on the map.
  • Partner closely with the Executive Director, care teams, and department leaders to create seamless, memorable tour experiences.
  • Contribute to the yearly marketing plan and help plan and execute 8–10 marketing events annually.
  • Track pipeline metrics, move-ins, and conversion ratios, and report on results.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Business, Communications, Real Estate, Hospitality, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of direct sales experience, ideally in senior living, hospitality, real estate, or healthcare.
  • A track record of success in consultative, relationship-based selling.
  • Comfort working in a CRM and using sales metrics to guide your day.
  • Familiarity with the senior care industry — independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
  • High emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and a genuine, customer-first mindset.
  • Bonus points for: experience with move-in coordination or family mediation, knowledge of Medicaid and long-term care insurance, an existing local referral network, or public speaking experience.
