The Mission: HireVector

I am an experienced engineering leader and CTO, and I have already started building the solution: HireVector.

HireVector is an early-stage venture building the hiring intelligence platform that brings structure, alignment, and fairness to technical interviews. We’re moving beyond simple code tests to focus on what truly matters: helping teams agree on what "good" looks like, guiding interviewers in real-time, and providing actionable, narrative feedback that improves the entire system.

I am looking for a partner, a co-founder, to lead this mission with me.

Your Role: Co-Founder & CEO

As the business and market-facing leader of HireVector, you will be the architect of our growth and the voice of our customer. Your mission will be to:

  • Be the Soul of the Product: Infuse your firsthand knowledge of the pains and complexities of talent acquisition into our product strategy, ensuring we build something people genuinely need.
  • Architect our Go-to-Market: Design and execute the strategy that gets HireVector into the hands of our first 10, then 100, then 1,000 customers.
  • Evangelize the Vision: Build relationships with leaders in the tech and HR communities, positioning HireVector as the definitive solution for hiring intelligence.
  • Build the Business: Shape our company culture, define our commercial model, and build the non-technical side of the organization from the ground up.
  • Co-lead Fundraising: Partner with me to craft a compelling narrative and secure the capital needed to fuel our growth.

About You: The Partner We're Looking For

  • You've Lived the Problem: You have significant experience as an in-house Head of Talent, VP of People, or a similar leadership role within a fast-growing tech or product company. You have felt the pain.
  • You're a Strategic Builder: You've built hiring functions, implemented processes, and understand the intricate dance between hiring managers, candidates, and leadership.
  • You're an Empathetic Leader: You care deeply about candidate experience and believe fairness and efficiency are not mutually exclusive.
  • You're Resilient and Ambitious: You thrive in ambiguity and are driven by the desire to build something meaningful from zero. You are ready to move from managing a process to creating an industry-defining product.
  • The "Unicorn" Profile (The Ideal): You may have started your career at a top recruiting agency where you mastered sales and networking, before moving in-house to gain deep, strategic operational experience.

The Offer: A True Stake in Our Future

  • Title: Co-Founder & CEO
  • Equity: A significant co-founder equity stake, reflecting your foundational role in the company (subject to a standard 4-year vesting schedule with a 1-year cliff).
  • Compensation: A founder-level salary to be established upon securing our first round of funding, which we will achieve together.
