The posting

Role: Sales Assistant - NEW STORE OPENING - OCT

Location: London Bridge, London

Contract: Part Time - 20 hours - Fixed Term (3 months)

Salary: £14.00 per hour

Who We Are:

Card Cop is bringing the world of card collecting to life with a new retail concept built around football, cards, culture and community.

Our first London store will be a destination for collectors - somewhere to discover products, talk football, share knowledge and connect with people who genuinely understand the excitement of the hobby.

This is our first store, but it's just the beginning. We're looking for Product Experts who can bring the passion, personality and knowledge that will make Card Cop a destination for the collecting community.

The Sales Assistant Role:

You'll be at the heart of the Card Cop experience - talking cards, sharing knowledge, discovering what customers are looking for and creating an environment people want to come back to.

  • Bring genuine passion for football, cards, collecting or enthusiast-led culture
  • Welcome experienced collectors and people discovering the hobby for the first time
  • Share product knowledge and help customers discover the right products for them
  • Build genuine relationships and help grow the Card Cop community
  • Bring energy and personality to every customer interaction
  • Spot opportunities, recommend products and contribute to strong sales performance
  • Learn quickly and keep developing your product and collector knowledge
  • Take pride in the store and consistently deliver high standards

What's in it for the Sales Expert?

  • The opportunity to be part of the first Card Cop store
  • A job built around football, cards, collecting and community
  • The chance to turn your passion and knowledge into a customer experience
  • The opportunity to learn more about products and the wider collecting world
  • A team environment built around shared interests and genuine enthusiasm
  • A fast-moving workplace where personality and individuality matter
  • The chance to grow with Card Cop as we move beyond our first location

The role would suit someone who is:

  • Genuinely passionate about football, cards, collecting or enthusiast-led culture
  • Naturally curious and excited to keep building their product knowledge
  • Brilliant with people and comfortable starting conversations
  • Customer focused and motivated by creating memorable experiences
  • Commercially aware and confident recommending products
  • Energetic, adaptable and happy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excited by the opportunity to join Card Cop at the beginning
  • Part product expert. Part collector. Part community.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
