The Localization AI Content Specialist will support the design, deployment, governance, and continuous optimization of AI-powered localization solutions, including machine translation, generative AI, prompt-based workflows, and autonomous AI agents.

This role sits at the intersection of localization, content technology, and AI, helping improve translation quality, content generation, terminology adherence, and localization efficiency. You will work across Digital, IT, and business teams to evaluate and scale AI-enabled localization solutions while supporting robust quality, governance, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deployment, governance, and continuous optimization of AI-powered localization solutions, including machine translation, generative AI, prompt-based workflows, and autonomous AI agents.
  • Manage machine translation platforms, and AI-enabled localization technologies.
  • Design, test, and optimize prompts, retrieval strategies, and AI workflows to improve translation quality, content generation, terminology adherence, and localization efficiency.
  • Build, configure, and maintain AI agents and automation workflows that support multilingual content creation, localization, quality assurance, and content delivery processes.
  • Partner with Digital, IT, and business stakeholders to evaluate, implement, and scale AI initiatives that drive localization transformation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate localization workflows using AI, APIs, orchestration platforms, and system integrations across CMS, DAM, PIM, and TMS environments.
  • Develop and maintain localization standards, SOPs, governance frameworks, and best practices for AI-enabled content creation and localization processes.
  • Establish and manage AI quality evaluation frameworks, including automated quality scoring, LQA methodologies, terminology compliance, and linguistic quality monitoring.
  • Manage and maintain linguistic assets, including translation memories, terminology databases, prompt libraries, and AI training datasets.
  • Annotate, curate, and validate AI-generated and machine-translated content to create trusted multilingual datasets for model evaluation, fine-tuning, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze localization, quality, and AI performance metrics to generate actionable insights, measure ROI, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate emerging AI, localization, and language technologies by conducting proofs of concept and recommending innovative solutions to improve scalability, quality, and speed.
  • Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to assess AI capabilities, benchmark performance, and optimize localization technology ecosystems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex localization technology, automation, and AI workflow issues in partnership with Digital and IT teams.
  • Support AI governance, risk management, compliance, and responsible AI practices within localization workflows.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Content, or a related field.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in localization, language technology, content operations, or multilingual content management.
  • Hands-on experience working with Translation Management Systems (TMS) and localization technologies.
  • Familiarity with machine translation, generative AI tools, large language models (LLMs), and AI-assisted content workflows.
  • Experience creating and refining prompts to improve AI-generated content quality, consistency, and terminology compliance.
  • Interest in building, testing, or supporting AI agents, copilots, chatbots, or workflow automation solutions.
  • Understanding of translation memory management, terminology management, and localization quality best practices.
  • Experience reviewing, evaluating, and annotating AI-generated or machine-translated content.
  • Ability to analyze localization and quality data to identify trends, measure performance, and support process improvements.
  • Familiarity with content management ecosystems, including CMS, DAM, PIM, and related digital content platforms.
  • Experience supporting system integrations, workflow automation, or localization process optimization initiatives is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot localization technology and workflow issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Digital, IT, and external vendors.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn emerging AI, automation, and localization technologies.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
