Jouw uitdaging als Automation Engineer

Als Automation Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de automatisering van industriële waterzuiveringsinstallaties. Je combineert softwareontwikkeling, PLC-programmering, industriële automatisering en technische probleemoplossing.

Je takenpakket is gevarieerd en biedt heel wat ruimte voor initiatief en technische ontwikkeling.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Ontwikkelen, programmeren en optimaliseren van PLC-sturingen voor industriële installaties.
  • Werken met Siemens PLC's en bij voorkeur Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Configureren, programmeren en testen van HMI- en SCADA-systemen.
  • Ondersteunen bij de opstart en indienststelling van nieuwe installaties.
  • Analyseren en oplossen van technische storingen en automatiseringsproblemen.
  • Uitwerken van nieuwe automatiseringsconcepten en standaardisaties.
  • Opstellen en onderhouden van technische documentatie.
  • Technische ondersteuning bieden aan project- en serviceingenieurs.
  • Meewerken aan internationale projecten en installaties.

Je werkt voornamelijk vanuit Geel. Voor de opstart en indienststelling van installaties ben je ongeveer 2 à 4 weken per jaar in het buitenland.

Een beetje IT naast automatisering

Naast je hoofdactiviteit binnen industriële automatisering ondersteun je mee het interne IT-beheer.

Dit omvat onder andere:

  • Beheer van pc's, laptops en mobiele toestellen.
  • Onderhoud van de netwerk- en serverinfrastructuur.
  • Beheer van de Microsoft 365-omgeving.
  • Ondersteuning van collega's bij IT-vragen en technische problemen.
  • Meewerken aan digitalisering, IT-optimalisatie en cybersecurity.

Je krijgt dus een gevarieerde functie waarin industriële automatisering en IT elkaar versterken.

Wie zoeken we?

We zoeken een technisch sterke en analytische collega die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt en interesse heeft in innovatieve automatiseringsoplossingen.

Jouw profiel:

  • Je hebt een bachelor of master in Elektromechanica, Automatisering, Industriële Wetenschappen of een gelijkwaardige technische opleiding.
  • Je hebt kennis van PLC-programmering, bij voorkeur met Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Ervaring met HMI- en SCADA-systemen is een pluspunt.
  • Kennis van industriële communicatieprotocollen is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je hebt interesse in zowel industriële automatisering als IT-infrastructuur.
  • Je bent analytisch, gestructureerd en oplossingsgericht.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, maar voelt je ook thuis in een klein en dynamisch team.
  • Je bent bereid om sporadisch naar het buitenland te reizen.

Ervaring in waterzuivering is zeker een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste. Ook gemotiveerde technische profielen die zich verder willen ontwikkelen binnen industriële automatisering komen in aanmerking.
