The posting

Voor het projectteam op de site ter hoogte van de Gentse Kanaalzone is onze klant op zoek naar een gedreven en analytische EIA Engineer (Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation). In deze veelzijdige rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, engineeringsklaar maken en in dienst nemen van elektrische en automatiseringssystemen binnen omvangrijke industriële projecten. Je overbrugt de wereld van PLC/SCADA-sturingen met de onderliggende elektrische en instrumentele infrastructuur.

  • Ontwikkelen, configureren en aanpassen van PLC- en SCADA-software (voornamelijk Siemens PCS 7).
  • Ontwerpen van elektrische installaties, waaronder transformatoren, schakelinstallaties, motorbedieningspanelen (MCC) en automatiseringskasten.
  • Opstellen, beheren en beoordelen van elektrische schema's, loopdiagrammen en kabellijsten.
  • Selecteren en specificeren van geschikte veldinstrumentatie en het verder uitwerken van regelkringen.
  • Vertalen van functionele eisen naar praktische, betrouwbare en veilige automatiseringsoplossingen.
  • Technisch opvolgen van projecten van ontwerpfase tot en met de uiteindelijke realisatie.
  • Actief ondersteunen bij de inbedrijfstelling (commissioning) van nieuwe en aangepaste installaties op de site.
  • Nauw samenwerken met operations, onderhoud, interne projectteams en externe partners.
  • Bewaken van de technische kwaliteit, veiligheidsvoorschriften en geldende normen van de installaties.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma Elektromechanica, Automatisering of een gelijkwaardige technische richting.
  • Bij voorkeur 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring binnen industriële automatisering of technische projectomgevingen.
  • Aantoonbare en grondige ervaring met Siemens PCS 7 en PLC-programmering.
  • Kennis van laag- en middenspanningsinstallaties, veldinstrumentatie, regelkringen en industriële normen.
  • Affiniteit met OT/IT-infrastructuur (zoals industriële netwerkarchitecturen, switches, servers en virtualisatie); kennis van OT-security is een pluspunt.
  • Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Analytisch, nauwkeurig, communicatief vaardig en sterk in projectmatig en gestructureerd werken.
