The posting

Als Sales & Business Development Engineer speel je een belangrijke rol in de commerciële groei van de organisatie. Je combineert actieve prospectie met het uitbouwen van bestaande klantenrelaties en het ontwikkelen van nieuwe markten. Je bent regelmatig in contact met klanten en partners en begeleidt commerciële opportuniteiten van het eerste gesprek tot de uiteindelijke bestelling.

Je takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

  • Actief prospecteren en nieuwe klantenrelaties ontwikkelen.
  • Bestaande klanten en commerciële partners beheren en verder uitbouwen.
  • Nieuwe projecten, markten en zakelijke opportuniteiten identificeren.
  • Technische specificaties, meetstaten en projectvereisten analyseren en vertalen naar passende oplossingen.
  • Technische en commerciële offertes opmaken, bespreken en opvolgen.
  • Onderhandelen over prijzen en commerciële voorwaarden.
  • Je salespipeline beheren en instaan voor een correcte forecasting en opvolging.
  • Nauw samenwerken met technische collega's om klanten de juiste oplossingen aan te bieden.
  • Samenwerken met lokale vertegenwoordigers en partners waar relevant.

Zodra een offerte wordt omgezet in een bestelling, neemt de backoffice de administratieve verwerking en verdere orderopvolging over.

Op termijn krijg je bovendien de mogelijkheid om mee te bouwen aan een commerciële organisatie en een eigen salesteam uit te bouwen en aan te sturen.

Je bent commercieel ingesteld, neemt initiatief en haalt energie uit het ontwikkelen van nieuwe business. Je combineert overtuigingskracht met technisch inzicht en weet duurzame klantenrelaties op te bouwen.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • Relevante ervaring in B2B-sales, bij voorkeur in een technische omgeving.
  • Affiniteit met HVAC, gebouwautomatisering, regeltechniek of een aanverwante sector. Ervaring hierin is een sterke troef.
  • Ervaring met prospectie, business development en klantenbeheer.
  • Het vermogen om technische specificaties en meetstaten te interpreteren en commerciële offertes op te maken.
  • Een zelfstandige en resultaatgerichte werkstijl, met verantwoordelijkheid over je klanten en commerciële resultaten.
  • De ambitie om op termijn een commercieel team uit te bouwen en aan te sturen.
  • Een vlotte kennis van het Nederlands, Frans en Engels. Kennis van het Duits is een pluspunt.
