Omschrijving

Voor onze klant, een stabiele en wereldwijd actieve onderneming, zijn we op zoek naar een Shipping Officer. In deze gevarieerde functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor de accurate administratieve verwerking en gestroomlijnde opvolging van alle inkomende en uitgaande goederenstromen. Je onderhoudt dagelijks contact met internationale transporteurs, klanten en interne afdelingen om een vlekkeloze verzending te garanderen.

Jouw takenpakket:

  • Verwerken en nauwgezet opvolgen van verzendingen in de interne ERP- en logistieke softwarepakketten
  • Opmaken, controleren en beheren van alle benodigde verzend-, export- en transportdocumenten
  • Coördineren en opvolgen van nationale en internationale transporten in samenwerking met logistieke partners
  • Bewaken van de voorziene levertermijnen en proactief communiceren bij eventuele afwijkingen of vertragingen
  • Fungeren als centraal administratief aanspreekpunt voor klanten, transporteurs en interne collega's
  • Actief meedenken over procesoptimalisaties, efficiëntieverbeteringen en de verdere digitalisering van de afdeling
  • Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma (bij voorkeur Logistiek, Supply Chain of Bedrijfskunde) of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Relevante werkervaring binnen shipping, logistiek, customer service of supply chain is een mooie troef
  • Je beschikt over een uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheid in het Nederlands én het Engels
  • Je werkt uiterst nauwkeurig, beschikt over oog voor detail en bent stressbestendig op drukke momenten
  • Je beschikt over een sterke digitale affiniteit en bent vlot met ERP-systemen
  • Je werkt graag georganiseerd, bent oplossingsgericht en denkt proactief mee over procesverbeteringen
