The posting

Job Title: Business Analyst (5–12 years)

The Business Analyst is responsible for driving end to end requirements, partnering with business and technology stakeholders, and ensuring that solutions deliver measurable business value. The role involves leading discovery, defining and prioritizing requirements, and supporting delivery in an Agile or hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategy, goals, and pain points, and translate them into well defined problems and opportunities.

Lead requirements gathering workshops, interviews, and working sessions; elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non functional requirements.

Create and maintain artefacts such as BRDs, FRDs, process flows, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Analyze current state processes and systems, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and define target state processes and solutions.

Collaborate closely with product managers/owners, architects, UX, and engineering teams to shape solution approaches and ensure feasibility and alignment with strategy.

Support backlog management: refine and prioritize user stories, clarify requirements, and help balance business value, effort, and risk.

Work with QA to define test scenarios, review test cases, and validate that delivered solutions meet acceptance criteria and business objectives.

Contribute to impact analysis, cost benefit analysis, and business cases for new initiatives or change requests.

Prepare and deliver clear presentations, demos, and documentation for senior stakeholders and end users.

Act as a key liaison during UAT and implementation, coordinating issue resolution and ensuring smooth go live and adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

5–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/technology enabled projects (product or services), with exposure to medium to large programs.

Strong experience in requirements elicitation, process analysis, and documentation using industry standard techniques and notations (e.g., use cases, user stories, BPMN flowcharts).

Hands on experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and familiarity with SDLC in both Agile and traditional models.

Proficiency with common BA and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA/Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides).

Solid understanding of at least one domain (e.g., BFSI, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, telecom, or enterprise SaaS) and the ability to learn new domains quickly.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to break down complex problems and propose structured, practical solutions.

Soft Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to simplify complex topics for different audiences (business, technical, leadership).

Strong stakeholder management skills, including expectation setting, conflict resolution, and influencing without authority.

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while mentoring junior BAs or team members when required.

High ownership mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high quality outcomes within deadlines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Master’s in business administration is preferred

Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile software development projects will be a good to have.

Proficiency in Agile/Scrum practices will be preferred.

Professional certifications such as CBAP/CCBA, PMI PBA, or Agile certifications (PSPO, CSPO, SCRUM Master) are an added advantage.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
