The posting

Location: Oslo, Bergen, anywhere in Norway Salary: 850-980k NOK/year

Fullstack Engineer

Help us create the software platform that will change Norwegian healthcare forever.

The mission

We're building the healthcare platform all Norwegians deserve — an integrated set of services that lets institutions, clinicians, social workers, and citizens collaborate as a single team. We want every person in Norway to enjoy the longest, happiest life possible. That means improving the everyday lives of healthcare workers, giving patients more control, and maybe saving a few lives along the way.

It doesn't get more meaningful than that.

The Teams

Team Patient Crafts Mitt Aidn — our portal and mobile application serving as the daily digital doorway connecting citizens, families, and municipal care providers.

The problems the team is working on right now:

  • Rolling out a consumer-facing native app with biometric login and instant push notifications, transforming standard web access into an essential daily companion.
  • Crafting fine-grained consent models that balance parental rights for minors with automated confidentiality protections for teenagers.
  • Replacing paper-heavy processes by converting legacy paper authorizations into streamlined mobile sign-offs.

Team Case Handling Empowering municipal caseworkers with a unified toolkit to navigate the entire lifecycle of care management — from initial intake and smart dispatch, through tailored service decisions and ongoing follow-up, all the way to secure archiving.

The problems the team is working on right now:

  • Giving case handlers a single, role-aware view — patient overview, tasks, care plans, notifications and search across all departments.
  • Building a way to route incoming applications and messages to the right case handler based on workload, competence and location
  • Piloting AI-assisted case handling to improve decision quality and save caseworkers time — laying the groundwork for broader adoption in 2027.

Team Collaboration Focuses on planning and optimisation — an area defined by complex algorithms, dense data, and a genuine obsession with giving health workers the best possible conditions to do their jobs.

The problems we're working on right now:

  • How do we manage home services staff, competencies, and schedules without a robust workforce system integration?
  • How do we organise and execute treatment plans collaboratively across different disciplines of care?
  • How do we build route plans that account for variable-length visits, driver skills, and multi-driver coordination — not just geography?
  • Can our solver run fast enough to keep planners in the loop, rather than disappearing for 10 minutes in the background?
  • Can lessons from home services routing apply to institutional ward planning?

The role

You'll work in a small, cross-functional team alongside product managers and designers, with the freedom to make real decisions. Your core responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end features that solve real clinical planning problems
  • Keep backend services and frontend applications well-aligned
  • Refactor confidently as you learn from users and peers
  • Help define best practices that actually work for your team
  • Own operational support for the services you build

Building great software requires experienced technologists with the right mindset. It is a continuous, iterative process of listening, learning, and steady improvement. We need people who can do more than just write code.

What we're looking for

We hire for mindset first. The right attitude — curiosity, ownership, a collaborative spirit — matters more to us than ticking every box on the stack.

That said, you'll thrive here if you have:

  • Experience building greenfield SaaS products as a fullstack engineer
  • The ability to weigh trade-offs and make sound architectural decisions
  • Strong communication — you can articulate ideas and the reasoning behind them
  • Experience in product-led startups with autonomous, cross-functional teams
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership

On the tech stack: Our core is PostgreSQL, C# .NET, and React / Next.js + TypeScript. You don't need to know all of it — but you should be comfortable working across the stack and confident picking up what you don't already know. Experience in adjacent technologies is genuinely fine; we care more about how you think than what you've used.

A passion for healthcare is a bonus. Understanding the weight of the problem helps.

If that sounds like you, Aidn might be just what you’re looking for.

To achieve our ambitions, product teams must have freedom to take decisions and demonstrate initiative as the company continues to grow. By joining in this early stage, you can have a huge impact on how our products are designed and implemented.

What success looks like

We believe clarity helps everyone thrive. Here’s what success could look like in this role:

In 3 months:

  • You’ve gotten to know our platform, our teams, and our priorities—and built trust with key stakeholders.
  • You’ve shipped small but impactful functionality to production and can see its impact and usage through our metrics.
  • You’re participating in team discussions, asking for help and questions, and helping us see things we might miss.

In 6 months:

  • You’re a go-to person for questions related to what you have built and a dependable force in our delivery process.
  • You’ve taken ownership of a piece of your domain—maybe a new feature, a shared service, or even a new subdomain.
  • You’ve helped improve how we work—whether through automation, documentation, or nudging us toward better defaults.

In 12 months:

  • You’re assisting initiatives that improve user experience, resilience, scale, and developer experience across the company.
  • You’ve helped embed best practices across product teams, improved developer experience, and reduced friction on behalf of our users.
  • You’ve become a voice in product and technology strategy—helping shape not just how we work, but what we work on.

What you get

  • Competitive salary + employee shares
  • 6 weeks vacation
  • Flexible hours and location — work from home, or occasionally abroad is totally fine and flexible, however some teams are co-located in Oslo and Bergen, and would love to see you at the office regularly
  • A direct line to professional managers invested in your personal growth
  • Early-stage influence on how our products are designed and built

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
