Job Description
We are hiring an Apartment Community Manager to lead Indigo in Redwood City, CA.
This is an opportunity to lead a community as your own business, combining people leadership, financial ownership, sales strategy, and resident experience to deliver exceptional results. You'll set the direction for the community, empower your team to perform at their best, and identify opportunities to strengthen occupancy, revenue, resident satisfaction, and overall operational performance.

What We Offer
AIR offers a competitive compensation package that rewards performance, including:
- Estimated salary range of $100,000 - $105,000 + 15% target bonus opportunity. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
- Commissions for new leases and renewals.

What You Will Do
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing leasing and maintenance team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, growth, and excellence.
- Drive occupancy, revenue, resident retention, and customer satisfaction while consistently achieving community performance goals.
- Own the community's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, expense management, revenue growth, and achievement of operational goals.
- Develop and execute effective leasing, sales, and resident experience strategies using performance metrics, market insights, and business trends to drive results.
- Deliver an exceptional resident experience by fostering a service-driven culture and building strong relationships with residents.
- Ensure operational excellence through strong execution, compliance, and adherence to company policies and applicable industry standards.
Qualifications

- Comfortable balancing an exceptional resident experience with financial and operational priorities.
- Organized, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You Have
- 4+ years of experience in sales, customer service, asset management, property management, hospitality, retail, restaurants, or another service-driven industry.
- 2+ years of leadership experience in property management, with demonstrated success leading and developing teams.
- Experience leading teams in a competitive sales and customer service environment.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, motivate, and develop team members while driving accountability and performance.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, revenue, expenses, and operational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to use sales processes, performance metrics, and business insights to drive results.
- A track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and building strong resident or customer relationships.
- Experience with property management systems and technology such as Entrata, OneSite, SmartRent, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Flexible availability to work a typical schedule of Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 AM-6:30 PM. Hours may vary based on community needs and season.
