The posting

In particular, the Employee's main duties and responsibilities in his capacity as Sales Manager shall include the following:-

Overall Purpose of Job: To ensure service levels are maintained in order to satisfy customer needs through well coordinated operational functions.

Overall Objective of Job:

The overarching objective is to deliver the organization's cash generation, profitability, volume and revenue goals. Raise company profile and increase sales.

Main duties & responsibilities:

Formulation and execution of sales strategies.

Manage and mentor sales team to achieve budget.

Ensure that cash generation objectives are achieved.

Ensure client retention through superior service.

Ensure attainment of new business acquisition targets.

Formulation and execution of companies pricing and rates strategy.

Formulation and execution of customer trading terms and conditions of carriage.

Interface with the companies major customers on volume, growth and payments.

Competitor tracking and monitoring.

Ensure all sales reports are generated and circulated on time.
