Job Description:

Are you a results-driven contract professional ready to make a direct operational impact at an industry leader? Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Support Contracts Manager to manage civil support contracts and drive long-term operational profitability. Reporting directly to the Head of Power by the Hour (PBH) , you will take ownership of contract administration, negotiation, and financial data analysis.

While specialized aviation backgrounds and an A&P license are preferred assets that enhance technical aptitude, our primary hiring focus is solid, cross-industry commercial contract management expertise. If you have strong negotiation capabilities and analytical proficiency in SAP and Google Sheets, this role offers high-visibility leadership and room to make a significant financial impact.

Your Working Environment:

Check out one of the seven professional sports teams that also call Dallas home - you may even see a special, custom Airbus helicopter dedicated to the Dallas Cowboys flying during home games.

How we care for you:

  • Financial Rewards: Competitive base salary, incentive compensation which may include profit sharing schemes, retirement savings plan and the ability to participate in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (“ESOP”)
  • Work/Life Balance: Paid time off including personal time, holidays and a generous paid parental leave program.

  • Individual Development: Upskilling and development opportunities through our global Leadership University, including unlimited access to 10,000+ e-learning courses focusing on ways to develop your employability, certifications, career path as well as the opportunity to participate in accelerated development programmes and both national and international mobility.

Your Challenges:

  • Lead Commercial Negotiations: Direct all contract negotiations for new business and renewals to achieve equitable cost targets and protect program margin and profitability objectives.
  • Manage End-to-End Contract Administration: Oversee the complete lifecycle of active and inactive PBH agreements, ensuring all customer and company contractual obligations are met.
  • Proactive Renewals & Intercompany Agreements: Identify upcoming contract expirations and manage renewal agreements, including back-to-back contractual structures aligned with Headquarters.
  • Financial Oversight & KPI Reporting: Monitor contract financial health, conduct data analyses, and develop executive-level KPIs to drive operational efficiencies on at least a quarterly basis.
  • Invoicing & Forecast Management: Ensure accurate monthly invoicing cycles, manage customer credits/payments, and generate dependable revenue and demand forecasts.
  • Exchange & Core Unit Recovery: Partner with Material Supply and Logistics teams to enforce customer compliance regarding timely exchange and core unit returns.
  • Primary Customer Interface: Serve as the direct front-office contact for customer inquiries regarding PBH policy, contract interpretation, Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROMs), and formal quotes.
  • Business Case Preparation: Formulate detailed Cost of Sales analyses (pricing, warranty, and risk factors) and present business cases to executive management for review and sign-off.
  • Cross-Functional Operational Alignment: Coordinate with Finance, Pool Management, Customer Support, and Logistics to ensure all operational prerequisites and consignment inventory needs are met.
  • Pricing Adjustments & Buy-Out Execution: Administer annual contractual price escalations and collaborate with Finance to calculate and execute program buy-outs when customer aircraft are sold.

Your Boarding Pass:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration (BBA) with emphasis on Finance, Accounting or Marketing, or equivalent experience (4 years)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
