The Inside Sales Associate focuses on selling to customers over the phone. The Inside Sales Associate resolves customer account needs and fostering long-term satisfaction through dedicated service and coordination. This position is centered on selling and or nurturing existing relationships and supporting the Sales Team.

  • Responsible for managing key accounts with the support of the Branch Manager.
  • Responsible for handling complex inventory order management for those key accounts.
  • Ensure alignment on customer account needs by resolving inquiries promptly and thoughtfully.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain excellent records and account health.
  • Provide meaningful assistance to ensure clients feel supported and heard.
  • Foster a sense of partnership across departments to resolve complex inquiries efficiently.
  • Maintain a collaborative and team-oriented approach to daily office operations.
  • Provide backup support for the branch counter by helping with the walk-in traffic, answering customer questions, completing cylinder exchange, help organize the showroom.
  • Will obtain forklift certification to handle branch cylinders.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior customer service and/or inside sales related experience required.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed; works well with others in a team environment across the organization knowing who to engage to achieve results. Uses candor and sensitivity in their dealings with others.
  • Exhibits customer focused behavior such as building positive relationships and strives to understand customer’s needs, both internal and external.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills to include the ability to multi- task and effectively manage projects in a diverse organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional post high school education and/or training preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Industrial Gas and/or Welding experience preferred.
