About the role

We’re seeking a Controls Team Leader Supervisor to oversee the Controls function across multiple automation projects. You’ll supervise Controls Team Leaders and engineers, ensure technical consistency, manage resources, and support successful project delivery—from design reviews through customer commissioning.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise Controls Team Leaders and engineering teams across multiple projects.
  • Plan and allocate resources based on project priorities and requirements.
  • Establish consistent PLC, HMI, and electrical control architectures.
  • Review complex control concepts, designs, and software.
  • Monitor project schedules, engineering hours, and delivery progress.
  • Resolve escalated technical issues and support key decisions.
  • Coordinate with Mechanical, Robotics, Software, and Project Management teams.
  • Ensure controls documentation, program backups, and coding standards are maintained.
  • Support customer technical reviews and international commissioning activities.

Qualifications and experience

  • B.E. or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.
  • Typically 8–12+ years of experience in machine automation.
  • Advanced knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, safety PLCs, servos, and industrial communications.
  • Experience with multi-project resource and workforce planning.
  • Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous responsibility for managing or supervising teams.
  • Automotive, OEM, or Tier-1 automation project experience preferred.
