Job Description:
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Acts as the main point of contact for all builder matters, concerns and needs.
- Builds and strengthens client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
- Maintains accurate builder records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals as required
- Develops a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
- Takes inquiries and requests from builders to address service needs
- Stays on top of accounts, making sure they’re receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their needs
- Meets regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve service to builders
- Generates progress reports to give to Sales Manager and leadership
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly
- Keeps management informed on competitive positions and action as well provide feedback on competitive positioning
- Keeps Senior Management informed of activities and progress toward established sales goals & objectives
- Completes required reports and related documents promptly and accurately. Ensure the accuracy of all reports and accounting records
- Continually searches for ways to improve results and effectiveness.
- Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- 1+ years of sales or related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Intermediate computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of sales experience within a construction/HVAC or home services environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and receiving positive feedback

Working Conditions:
- Partial time spent in an open office environment
- May be exposed to construction environments involving equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials and odors
- Fast-paced environment
- Travel by vehicle to and from work locations
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/move up to 20 pounds frequently
- Frequently performs tasks requiring bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching
- Must be able to drive and operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots
- Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other equipment safely.
- With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others
- Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad
- Must be able to use arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push and pull objects and tools
