Want to be a part of Asia Pacific & Middle East's (APME) largest, most innovative, and rapidly growing data centre company?

AirTrunk is a hyperscale data centre company with a powerful purpose - to scale and sustain the relentless growth of the region’s digital future. We do this by continuously redefining and delivering the digital infrastructure that meet the needs of our customers - the world’s most transformational companies. And we’re doing so sustainably, for today and tomorrow.

Having opened Australia’s first and largest hyperscale data centres in 2017, we set our eyes on rapid expansion and now operate a platform of hyperscale data centres across the APME region. With backing from our investors, including Blackstone, this is just the beginning…

Come join the A-Team at AirTrunk, where the cloud meets the ground.

Your Impact

As the Associate Director, Environment, Health and Safety DC Operations, you will report directly to the Vice President, EHS and provide enterprise EHS leadership across AirTrunk’s growing data centre operating portfolio.

Partnering closely with DC Operations leadership, you will strengthen operational performance, leadership capability and Line 1 ownership while building a scalable EHS capability that safely enables the continued growth of AirTrunk’s global operating portfolio.

Serve as the senior EHS Business Partner for AirTrunk’s DC Operations business, working with leaders to strengthen frontline ownership, leadership capability and EHS performance. Lead and continually improve the EHS partnering model across the operating portfolio, with a focus on critical risk management, operational assurance and learning in live data centres.

What You'll Do

Serve as the senior EHS Business Partner for DC Operations, advising, coaching and constructively challenging senior leaders. Strengthen Line 1 ownership, leadership capability and critical risk management across live facilities, while leading a consistent EHS Business Partnering model across AirTrunk’s global portfolio. Partner with Enterprise Governance & Assurance to improve operational assurance and critical control verification.

Build EHS capability and performance across Facilities Management partners, contractors and service providers. Work with Development EHS and DC Operations to support the safe transition of new facilities and major upgrades into operations, implement EHS Operational Readiness requirements and strengthen asset handover learning. Build trusted relationships with customers and operational stakeholders, and lead significant incident response, investigation and organisational learning.

Monitor performance and emerging risks to set priorities and drive continual improvement, translating lessons and good practice into practical changes across regions and campuses. Shape the EHS operating model and capability needed for AirTrunk’s growth, supporting new markets with globally consistent but locally relevant expectations. Develop a high-performing EHS team through recruitment, coaching, succession planning and performance management, and contribute to enterprise priorities as a member of the Enterprise EHS Leadership Team.

What You'll Bring

  • 12+ years of relevant EHS experience, including leading teams in complex, high-risk operational environments.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders to strengthen business ownership, leadership capability and EHS performance.
  • Strong expertise in operational EHS, critical risk management, assurance, incident management and organisational learning.
  • Experience managing EHS across outsourced Facilities Management, service providers and complex contractor delivery models.
  • Sound understanding of business ownership, EHS partnering, governance and independent assurance.
  • Experience leading teams across multiple locations, regions and cultures, while developing high-performing teams and future leaders.
  • Strong commercial judgement and strategic mindset, balancing EHS requirements with operational, customer and business priorities.
  • Clear, influential communicator who simplifies complex issues, provides constructive challenge and builds trusted relationships; data centres, critical infrastructure, facilities management, utilities or engineering experience is highly regarded.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
