This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Legal & Compliance Professional based in India.

Join an innovative AI-focused project where your legal or compliance expertise will directly contribute to the development and improvement of advanced AI assistants. In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated responses against real-world professional standards and help ensure their accuracy, quality, and relevance. You will simulate realistic legal and compliance tasks, interact with AI assistants, and provide structured feedback on their performance. Your insights will help shape the next generation of AI systems by bringing practical industry knowledge into their development. This opportunity offers a flexible, fully remote working environment where you can contribute independently while applying your professional expertise to cutting-edge technology. With approximately 10 hours of work per week, it is an excellent opportunity to combine your existing professional experience with meaningful AI-related work.

Accountabilities

  • Create realistic legal and compliance requests based on professional tasks and everyday work scenarios.
  • Interact with AI assistants over multiple turns, providing instructions, clarifications, and feedback to guide their responses.
  • Challenge inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading outputs and assess the assistant’s ability to respond appropriately.
  • Evaluate AI-generated deliverables against professional legal and compliance standards.
  • Provide ratings and concise written feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, accuracy, and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute practical expertise to the ongoing development and refinement of AI systems.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality by ensuring that no confidential or proprietary information from employers, clients, or institutions is used in project activities.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in legal practice, paralegal work, legal operations, or regulatory compliance.
  • Professional background as an attorney, paralegal, legal operations specialist, or compliance professional.
  • Familiarity with AI assistants and experience using them occasionally for professional or personal tasks.
  • Strong written English skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities, particularly when evaluating complex or nuanced information.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess the quality, accuracy, and relevance of professional deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and provide structured feedback.
  • Must reside in a country where the relevant AI assistant is available.
  • Ability to work as an independent contractor.

  • Competitive compensation of $57 per hour.
  • Fully remote work with the flexibility to set your own schedule.
  • Approximately 10 hours of work per week.
  • Weekly payments through Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered.
