Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Backend Engineer to join our team in Karachi. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in the field of backend development. You will work closely with senior engineers to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of our backend systems. Your contributions will include writing clean and efficient code, building robust APIs, and improving the performance and scalability of our systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working in a collaborative environment with experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems and APIs.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement backend functionality and integrate with frontend systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code according to project requirements.
  • Help troubleshoot and debug issues in production and development environments.
  • Assist in optimizing backend applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including frontend developers, product managers, and designers) to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Assist in the documentation of system architecture, code, and development processes.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in a server-side programming language.
  • Experience with databases and web services.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
