The Opportunity

At Alera Group, we help clients protect what matters most by delivering tailored insurance and benefits solutions. As a Sales Agent, you will combine relationship-building, consultative selling, and industry expertise to connect individuals with the health insurance coverage that best fits their needs.

You will play a key role in driving growth, fostering client trust, and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the enrollment and decision-making process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell ACA plans, Medicare products, life insurance, and ancillary insurance solutions
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations to identify and address client needs
  • Handle inbound calls and follow up on organization-generated leads
  • Utilize CRM, quoting, enrollment, and communication tools to manage the sales process
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the enrollment experience
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and renewals
  • Help grow and manage an established book of business through proactive client engagement
  • Meet individual sales and performance goals while maintaining compliance standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  • Active Florida 2-14, 2-15, or 4-40 insurance license
  • Current continuing education status required to maintain active licensure
  • Prior sales experience or demonstrated aptitude for consultative selling
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and other technology platforms
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and evolving marketplace
  • Strong customer service skills with a client-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling Medicare, health insurance, life insurance, or ancillary products
  • Bilingual language skills
  • Experience working in a call center, agency, or insurance sales environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Knowledge of ACA Marketplace and Medicare products
  • Ability to manage multiple client interactions simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Compensation

  • Hourly Range: $18.00–$25.00 Hourly
  • Bonus Eligible: Yes
