Alexandria Motors is looking for a detail-oriented Office Administrator / Assistant Controller to join our dealership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or dealership office background who is ready to take the next step in their career.
This is not a traditional receptionist or front-desk position. You’ll work closely with our Controller and office team to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the dealership.

What You’ll Do
- Assist the Controller with daily dealership accounting functions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with invoices, payments, and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Process and organize dealership accounting paperwork
- Maintain vendor accounts and help resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end accounting processes
- Support other accounting and administrative functions as needed
- Work with dealership management and departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
What We’re Looking For
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office accounting experience preferred
- Automotive dealership accounting experience is a plus, but not required
- Accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial records
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems
- Ability to learn dealership accounting software and processes
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Candidates with previous experience as an Accounting Assistant, Accounting Clerk, Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Dealership Office Administrator, Office Manager, or Assistant Controller are encouraged to apply.
