Jobomschrijving

Als nachtverpleegkundige waak je over het welzijn, de veiligheid en de gezondheid van onze bewoners. Je bent tijdens de nacht een belangrijk aanspreekpunt en zorgt voor professionele, persoonsgerichte ondersteuning.

Je combineert verpleegkundige expertise met aandacht voor de mens achter de zorgvraag:

  • Kwaliteitsvolle nachtzorg: je voert verpleegkundige handelingen zorgvuldig uit, dient medicatie toe en volgt de gezondheidstoestand van bewoners nauwgezet op.
  • Doordachte observatie: je merkt veranderingen in de lichamelijke of mentale toestand van bewoners tijdig op en onderneemt de nodige actie.
  • Rust en vertrouwen: je hebt aandacht voor bewoners die onrustig, angstig of wakker zijn en biedt nabijheid en ondersteuning op maat.
  • Zelfstandig handelen: je schat situaties zelfstandig in, stelt prioriteiten en reageert adequaat bij acute of onverwachte gebeurtenissen.
  • Continue zorg: je registreert relevante informatie correct en zorgt voor een duidelijke overdracht aan de collega’s van de ochtendploeg.
  • Betrokken samenwerking: je werkt tijdens de nacht zelfstandig, maar maakt deel uit van een betrokken zorgteam en kunt bij vragen of complexe situaties rekenen op professionele ondersteuning.
  • Flexibele inzetbaarheid: je werkt op de verschillende afdelingen van WZC Huize Nazareth en neemt ook weekenddiensten op.

We zoeken een verpleegkundige die deskundigheid en verantwoordelijkheidszin combineert met een warme, respectvolle houding. Je voelt je thuis in de ouderenzorg en kiest bewust voor de eigenheid van nachtwerk.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Diploma en visum: je beschikt over een diploma verpleegkunde en een geldig visum.
  • Hart voor ouderen: je hebt aandacht voor het persoonlijke levensverhaal, de mogelijkheden en de zorgnoden van elke bewoner.
  • Affiniteit met nachtwerk: je werkt graag 's nachts en voelt je goed bij het specifieke werkritme en de verantwoordelijkheid die daarbij hoort.
  • Zelfstandigheid en initiatief: je neemt verantwoordelijkheid, durft beslissingen te nemen en weet wanneer je bijkomende ondersteuning moet inschakelen.
  • Stressbestendigheid: je bewaart het overzicht in onverwachte of dringende situaties en blijft rustig en zorgvuldig handelen.
  • Warmte en respect: je benadert bewoners met geduld, begrip en oprechte interesse.
  • Communicatieve vaardigheden: je communiceert helder met bewoners, familieleden en collega's en zorgt voor een correcte informatieoverdracht.
  • Goede kennis van het Nederlands: je kunt vlot en duidelijk communiceren om veilige en kwaliteitsvolle zorg te garanderen.
