Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the accounts receivable team and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections

- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate actions to resolve outstanding balances

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable process

- Review and reconcile customer accounts, resolve any discrepancies, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing

- Train and mentor accounts receivable staff, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance evaluations

- Prepare and present reports to senior management on accounts receivable performance and trends

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations and make recommendations for process improvements as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Detail-oriented and highly organized
