Where this is going
We are a founder-led group of B2B software companies serving the private wealth and governance world: WealthComply (FATCA and CRS compliance automation), MinuteMaster (board minutes and governance automation), a venture that is in stealth, and a small media strategy company. The founder is based in Jersey. The team works from several countries. Our clients are trust companies, fund administrators and private wealth firms across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Caribbean.
Over the next three years, we want to build a group with a strong leadership team, where the founder can focus on the few things only a founder can do.
We're looking for a Founder's Associate who wants to help make that happen. Someone who enjoys solving problems, bringing structure to complexity, and turning ideas into action. You'll work closely with the founder and across the businesses, gaining exposure to decisions, projects, and challenges that would normally take years to encounter.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn quickly, take ownership, and grow into broader operational responsibility.
The role
You help keep the founder's office and the wider group moving. You work across teams, support important projects, and make sure that decisions turn into actions and actions turn into results.
In practice:
- You help run the operating rhythm: preparing daily check-ins, weekly business reviews, Friday updates, and maintaining the decision log. You make sure actions have owners, deadlines, and follow-through.
- You take ownership of defined projects and workstreams, from researching the problem and gathering information to recommending next steps and coordinating execution.
- You turn complex information into clear, concise summaries. When the founder needs to make a decision, you help prepare the options, supporting facts, and a recommendation.
- You follow up with colleagues, external partners, advisers, and suppliers to keep work moving. You don't need formal authority to get things done.
- You support hiring alongside our recruiter: coordinating interviews, maintaining scorecards, organising references and trials, and helping new hires get started.
- You help manage the group's operational administration: tools, subscriptions, documentation, filing deadlines, payment preparation, and other recurring processes. Where possible, you document and improve these processes so they no longer require constant attention.
- You research new opportunities, potential partnerships, markets, and business challenges, turning your findings into practical recommendations rather than lengthy presentations.
- You work with our existing AI operating layer to prepare meeting notes, research, first drafts, reports, and follow-ups. You use AI to work faster and better, but remain responsible for checking its output.
You will work closely with the founder and, as the group develops, the Chief of Staff and other senior leaders. You'll have guidance and clear priorities, but we expect you to take initiative rather than wait for instructions at every step.
The goal is simple: make the people around you more effective, help important work get finished, and gradually take ownership of bigger challenges.
You will be judged on five things
- Important actions and commitments being tracked, followed up, and completed on time.
- Clear, accurate research and decision briefs that save senior people's time.
- Projects
