Rate of pay: $24.00 per hour
The Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida.
We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Dining Room Supervisor. Candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality.
We currently have the following shifts available: full time
The Dining Room Supervisor at The Glenview at Pelican Bay is responsible for being the primary Food & Beverage contact until management arrives. Verifies schedules, checks deliveries and carries Food & Beverage cell phone. Provides coverage for any area/server station in the absence of scheduled dining room staff.
The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for the following services including but not limited to:
- Coordinates the seating of the residents and guests in an efficient, courteous manner
- Lead the daily pre-shift lineup for dinner service, ensuring all dining room servers are prepared for service.
- Schedules stations and work assignments for the wait staff and check out servers to make sure standards are met.
- Records meal counts, reservations and additional charges. Complete knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Confers with Director of Food & Beverage regarding dining room status.

Skills and Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- A minimum of on years Host/Hostess or Lead Server experience within fine restaurant, club, hotel or similar institution.
- Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests.
- Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, work with, and be tolerant of residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors and subordinates.
- State applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card required.
